The Anthony C. Beilenson Visitor Center is proud to host a new exhibit featuring works by several local photographers, titled California Fire & Recovery.

Recently California has experienced several destructive wildfires. Following a devastating fire, the recovery process begins. This process can include plants, referred to as “fire followers,” that are rarely ever seen except in the aftermath of a fire. In this photo exhibition, you can observe the raw and heartbreaking side of fire, the rare fire followers, and the regrowth and transformation of fire recovery.

The visitor center is open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. On Saturday, January 25 at 1:00 pm, enjoy a special presentation, Life in the Burn Zone, from journalist, author, and photographer Suzanne Guldimann.

Enjoy a special song and video presentation benefiting Woolsey Fire victims titled We Go On (California Strong), by musicians Celleste and Eric Dick. The duo will be on hand at the Visitor Center for a special screening and Q&A session on Saturday, January 25 (2:00 pm) AND Saturday, February 15 (11:00 am).
